LASER CUTTING

Laser cutting is in simple words focusing a laser beam of high energy into tiny dots. If the energy is high enough, the laser beam will burn through the material. Speed of the process depends on the hardness and thickness of the material. For thicker materials the laser beam needs to run over multiple times to burn through. Unfortunately the thicker material is – the quality of the cut is getting worse. This is due to the defocusing of the laser beam below the focal point. Maximum size for the cutting is 740x430mm. Maximum thickness depends on material but it is around 12mm.
